I didn’t have out-of-this-world talent. I had a plan for my body, my swing, my mind, and how I showed up every day.
I learned that the hard way, after wasting close to two years in high school waiting for someone to hand me one.
Every kid your son competes against has the same facilities, the same travel teams, the same showcases. The system behind the work is what separates them.
And parents, your job isn’t to send the emails or run the workouts.
That’s not your role. Your job is to put your son in a system that teaches him to do it himself, because he’ll need that long after he’s out of your house.
Talent is the starting line. A system is the race.
